Visited by Captain James Cook in 1778, Nootka Sound's protected waters allows for a leisurely experience of it's many islands, coves, rocky coastlines, beaches and wildlife ranging from grey and orca whales, sea otters, seals and sea lions, eagles, wolves, and bears.  Historically the birthplace of British Columbia whereupon the first European mariners discovered the West Coast.
