We have created a unique Nootka Island Inland Water Trail through which paddlers of Canoes, Kayaks, and larger Historic war canoes may enjoy professionally guided paddling inside the safe Fjords of Nootka Island.

Nootka embraces the rich history and culture still evident in and around Nootka Island. Through mutual efforts with our Native and Government partners we are able to provide a Tourism Triangle through which the three local communities of Gold River, Tahsis and Zeballos act as gateways to the Birthplace of British Columbia.

Guests will enjoy the lavish Longhouses and haute cuisine prepared by our West Coast wilderness hosts. Discover Nootka aspires to cater to corporate groups, Families, eco-tours, and individual tourists. Adventures on Nootka Island and its surrounding waters is our specialty. Our desire to create a world class adventure lodge as a destination in itself and as a launching point for land and water tours remains our primary and everlasting goal.
